My friends are cooler than your friends
Reasons why 3 weeks of clothing is all packed up in my large rolling suitcase adorned with a packer leigh:
- Traveled to Madison Thursday night to join Pfangie, DB, The Regent Boys (I feel like it deserves title treatment), and the cohort at the Essen Haus in holiday gear. I will be spending one more night out on the town starting at the Old Fashioned, ending still TBD. One thing assured- there will be stiff drinks.
- Will be heading home Saturday for the holidays!!! Looking forward to spending time with the family and our rowdy new pup!!
- Off to Green Bay Sunday to tailgate and cheer on the Packers with a great crew.
- Traveling to Minneapolis to reunite with college friends which will FINALLY include Amber and Dan- our folks from CA!!!!!
- Jet setting to CA for NYE and the Rose Bowl!!! I can’t even anticipate how fun the trip will be!!!
- Back to the real world Monday for a week of work in St. Louis. Anticipating a brutal reality slap in the face after a fantastic vacation!
One of my very own
Background: So I was lying on Pfang Bob’s couch anxiously awaiting (still awaiting) her arrival and needed something to do. I have already updated myself on the tumblr pages I follow so I decided to go through my own and realized how great it was to look back and get a synopsis of the past months so I decided it was time to update.
Dilema: I have been having so much fun I couldn’t remember what had all happened since my last post.
Solution: Reblog the reunion posts compliments of my roommates (not changing their “label.” The 1320 girls will always be referred to as my roommates. “College friends” just seems inadequate.
Next steps: A lengthy list of things I am so freakin excited for!

Last reblog for today. 7 TBOX virgins hit the town Saturday to experience Chicago’s annual holiday themed bar crawl. Best part: Cereal shots. Hands down.
This weekend was:
- Bars (Twelve Bars of Christmas, to be exact).
- Reindeer, Santas, elves and snowmen.
- Ugly Christmas sweaters as far as the eye could see.
- Cereal. In mouths and on people, but mostly on bar floors.
Thanks, Chicago. You always show me a good time.

This past weekend I did a Badger Trolley Bar Crawl in Chicago with my college roommates and assorted other fantastic Wisconsin friends. The bottom line? It was a ridiculous success, full of red-clad UW alumni, mid-trolley franzia bongs, passerby-cheering/heckling, and so much other craziness. Reason #4908378 why I love my Wisconsin friends.

Official Big Kid
It’s official- I am a traveling business woman who now goes by Ms. Willems and am an official gold member for Southwest, Hertz and The Hyatt. This morning I woke up to my alarm at 5, hopped in a cab at 6, boarded a plane at 7:45, landed in St. Louis at 9, picked up my rental car and drove to my new project site in St. Louis, MO.
I never pictured I would be living out of a hotel 3 nights a week but with a view of The STL Arch and location near the Cardinals Stadium and Budweiser Brewery, I could get used to this. Not to mention the per diems, free gym, and Fridays at home!!
I’m planning to hoard all my travel points so I can plan a trip or two with some of my favorite people!!!!
My family’s future puppy and siblings!!! As long as the owner doesn’t decide she wants the one female pup of the litter for show, she will be ours in October!!! Cross your fingers that she is too fugly for competition but loveable and adorable enough for the Willems.
